The Lost & Found series is my favourite series so far by Catherine Cowles。 Roan and Aspen were just absolutely magic and he really stepped off the page as a full fledged character to me。 I love a gruff， grumpy， wounded man that has a heart that is only thawed by an adorable kid and her hot mom。 🤣 The deeper emotion to this book was really well-balanced by humor from Roan’s brothers and their utter shock at seeing their surly brother smile and laugh。 Aspen was a great mix of feisty and smart and The Lost & Found series is my favourite series so far by Catherine Cowles。 Roan and Aspen were just absolutely magic and he really stepped off the page as a full fledged character to me。 I love a gruff， grumpy， wounded man that has a heart that is only thawed by an adorable kid and her hot mom。 🤣 The deeper emotion to this book was really well-balanced by humor from Roan’s brothers and their utter shock at seeing their surly brother smile and laugh。 Aspen was a great mix of feisty and smart and a little vulnerable。 Definitely my fave of the series so far but we all know there is still Lawson to come！ 。。。more

I listened to this on audible and Maxine Mitchell and Zachary Webber made these characters showcase each emotion from fear of what has happened in the past， or worrisome of things happening in their small town， and you could feel the love between Roan and Aspen and adorable Cady。 I went into this thinking of a small town romance and right away had literal chills from the suspense。 I enjoyed the excitement of what was to come next。 After having to uproot her life and move from a terrible tragedy I listened to this on audible and Maxine Mitchell and Zachary Webber made these characters showcase each emotion from fear of what has happened in the past， or worrisome of things happening in their small town， and you could feel the love between Roan and Aspen and adorable Cady。 I went into this thinking of a small town romance and right away had literal chills from the suspense。 I enjoyed the excitement of what was to come next。 After having to uproot her life and move from a terrible tragedy she changed names and changed lives…5 years later…。There was so much happening in this story The mystery was fun， the twist here and there， always wondering what the truth was or what was going to happen next。 The story kept me intrigued the entire time。 The family dynamic and the relationship Roan had with Cady was probably my favorite part。 He was so caring and helpful to them。 The glimpse of Roan seeing them before from his house was such a sweet part of this book and the protectiveness he felt of them， on top of the entire family being there for Aspen and Cady， the family banter is always a good time too。 I loved Aspen and her independence， she was adventurous and caring， spoke her mind but always had to watch her back and protect herself and Cady。 Roan was quiet and held a lot on his shoulders but Aspen brought out the best in him。 She let him have his anger， have his moments of doubt but always reassured that she was there for him。 His growling and dirty words were not how I imagined Roan would be but I was here for it。 Even after all the amazing parts of this book， the epilogue was my favorite… and for that I’m ready to jump into another Catherine Cowles Book。 “It’s you， your the lights in the shadows， always have been， always will be”Tiny Dancer and Tender Heart。 ❤️ 。。。more

Cute easy read。 Roan was great and Aspen’s story was beautifully written。 Their love was evident。 I gave this book a 4 because it just feels so predictable at this point。 All of Catherine’s books feel identical aside from using new characters。 I’d love for Lawson’s book to have something new in the plot。

Shadows of you is the epitome of the grumpy/sunshine genre！ I received an ARC copy and believe me when I tell you， this is now my new favorite book of the series！Roan and Aspen are perfect for eachother right from the start。 Add in an adorable six year old and Roan’s heart didn’t stand a chance。 An absolute must read， and perfect addition to the series。
